“Case #2”
It was around 9:30 at night when I received a call from a frightened mother claiming that her daughter Connie was missing. The mother said that she is afraid that something terrible happened because there are mass blood drippings all over her floor and Connie is know where to be found. The mother said the screen door has a bloody handprint on it as if someone was struggling to stay inside. The mother finally came to a conclusion and said she thinks Connie has been kidnapped. The first thought that popped in my head was who could have done this and why?
As I arrived at the house the first thing I noticed is there are dried blood drippings on the driveway as if this had been done earlier in the day. As I approach the door I see the bloody handprint on the screen door like the mother had said. I walk inside the house and I see blood drippings all over the floor in a trail heading towards the door. I follow the trail the opposite way and it leads me to the family’s telephone which had the most blood on it. This drew my attention because this obviously represented that Connie was trying to call someone for help. I immediately took the telephone back to the station for fingerprints because I knew the suspect had to have touched it while wrestling with Connie.
I immediately return to the station and begin my fingerprinting on the telephone. My results came out with two people touching the telephone. The first person whom I already knew had been Connie and the second person was a guy named Arnold Friend.  I search his name in the database and it pulled up a picture of Arnold Friend which showed he had shaggy black hair as if it were a wig. The information from the database also showed me that Arnold Friend drove a gold convertible.
I informed the force to be on the lookout for a gold convertible and if they see one be sure to pull it over. I returned to my car and went on the most difficult search for a gold convertible.  After three hours of searching I finally see a gold convertible heading outside of town and it had aboard two passengers. I immediately tail the car and flash my lights telling them to pull over. They do so with no hesitation and I begin to walk up to the car.
As I approach the car I ask the driver, which was Arnold Friend, where they are headed to at this time of the morning. Arnold Friend replied that he was headed to see his girlfriend who stays a couple miles away from here. I immediately look towards the back seat and I see that the seats are wiped clean, but that a little spot of dried blood was on the door’s interior. I then asked Arnold Friend to step out of the car and he did so and I patted him down. In Arnold’s right back pocket I found a knife with dried blood all over it. I asked Arnold where the blood had come from, and he said that him and his friend Ellie had ran across a deer earlier that day and killed it.
I knew it was a lie but I had to keep my cool and not nail him, because he might try to make a run for it. I asked him to stand there and I went back to my car and secretly called for backup just in case both of them tried to make a run for it. My backup arrives and I make my arrest of Arnold Friend and his friend who was later identified as Ellie Oscar. Arnold immediately questions the arrest and I tell him for the kidnapping of Connie. Arnold quickly responds that he does not know her and that we have the wrong guy. I responded by telling him that we will find out when we return to the station.
I then return to my car and as I begin to pull off I see some blood coming from Arnold’s car trunk. I step of out of my car and grab Arnold’s keys which were still in the ignition. I pop the trunk and I find Connie in critical condition but somehow still breathing. I quickly call the paramedics and they arrive five minutes later. They put Connie on a stretcher saying she will be fine and she will have to go through surgery.
